The Bruins downed Long Beach State, 69-65, on Wednesday evening in the season-opening game for both teams. Tyger Campbell scored a team-leading 15 points and had five assists in the victory. The Bruins return to action this Sunday against UC Santa Barbara (4 pm, PT).
