Impressive all round performance from Sri Lanka saw them winning the 3 match ODI series with ease. The lions won the 3rd and final ODI match which was dedicated to Nuwan Kualsekara by 122 runs after winning Malinga’s last ODI by 91 runs and the 2nd ODI by 7 wickets. The top 5 batsmen performed exceptionally well for Sri Lanka and the middle order which was an issue in the World Cup seemed to be clicking together with Mendis and Mathews contributing consistently. Players who were not included in the World Cup squad showcased their talents well.
