Scott Carson was 33, at Derby, and just wanted to play football. Then his agent rang: "Fancy City?" An hour later the message changed. Look elsewhere or spend the season training with the under-23s. So he drove up to Manchester "just to speak to them"… and walked straight into Pep Guardiola in reception. Medical, forms, done. The next call was to his wife. Carson joined Manchester City on loan from Derby County in August 2019 and stayed until 2025, winning four Premier League titles, the Champions League and the treble, with one Premier League appearance and one Champions League appearance to his name. #ScottCarson #ManCity #PepGuardiola #FootballShorts #PremierLeague #Transfer #FootballStories
