It was a very strange game as Newcastle United took the lead after only 20 seconds but then decided to sit back and let WBA have the ball. However, after WBA equalised Steve Bruce decided to go on the front foot and made some very attacking changes which actually changed the game. Dwight Gayle returned from a long time injury to score a brilliant header which ended up being the winner and bagging Newcastle United the 3 points in the Premier League.
