According to Evan Massey of the NBA Analysis Network, the Miami Heat are looking to move on from Tyler Herro and the Houston Rockets could be his next team. Herro shined in his rookie season, averaging 13.5 points per game and nearly 39% from beyond the three-point line. He also played extremely well in the bubble for the Heat, scoring in double figures in 20 of the team’s 21 games in its memorable playoff run. He also dropped 37 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Heat might be interested in acquiring Eric Gordon to add a different dynamic to their backcourt and the Rockets could throw in their 23rd or 24th first round pick.
