The Battle of Alberta headlined a full slate of games Saturday, March 6th in the NHL. The Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Maple Leafs would play a second of 2 games while the Montreal Canadiens were looking to get back to winning ways against the Winnipeg Jets. We also had 9 other games around the NHL and a couple of absolutely beautiful goals. Before we get to everything else, let's start with the Battle of Alberta. The Edmonton Oilers were coming in after 3 straight losses, all at the hands of the Maple Leafs. The Flames had just fired their coach Geoff Ward while their new coach Darryl Sutter was doing Zoom interviews from a farm with an Ipad. We had some storylines for the evening.
