South Dakota defeated South Dakota State in the final game of the CU Mortgage Direct Dakota Showcase. Stanley Umude lead the Coyotes to their first victory on the season scoring 41 points on 17 of 26 shooting from the field. Umude and USD coach Todd Lee addressed the media followed by Jackrabbits coach Eric Henderson. SDSU finished 2-1 in the event.
