Throughout the history of our market, only handful of products have risen above to completely transcend the trading card marketplace. Much like the '97 PMG production, inaugural '03 Exquisite set the bar for what would become the future of modern-era premium trading cards. To this day, many collectors and investors alike feel '03 Exquisite did it better than any issue since, and the production quality presented by the Exquisite brand set a bar few manufacturers could justify or even afford. Held within 1st year Exquisite lies Michael Jordan's Emblems of Endorsements insert issue, representing a fine-art equivalent piece and one of the finest modern basketball cards produced during 2003. Though assessed as 'Authentic' by PSA, the overall aesthetics really pop. Presenting a dazzling silver foil inlay which highlights this card’s beautiful design and iconic 'Mouth Open' shot which Jordan made famous. The card retains excellent color and gloss with near precise registration. The corners are only minimally touched with crisp edges and brilliant centering. A few light surface indentations in the lower left quadrant accounts for the assessment. Resting just to the left of the 09/15 serial is a pair of game-worn jersey pieces, one of which is a truly one of a kind 4-color jersey piece which sports a nice break and a Bulls pinstripe (rare!). Furthermore, the hard-signed autograph sits at the bottom of the card and has earned PSA/DNA's GEM MINT 10 assessment. From the very beginning, Michael Jordan partnered with Nike to create a worldwide brand, "Air Jordan", that far surpassed those of his contemporaries. The Air Jordan brand became synonymous with Basketball and made everyone want to 'Be Like Mike'.
