Brechin City went down to a 2-0 home defeat from league leaders Livingston. The West Lothian side who can clinch the League One title at home next weekend when they play Alloa dominated for large periods of the game and ran out worthy winners. City tried very hard throughout the ninety minutes but they could make little headway against a very strong and commanding visitors defence superbly marshalled by Alan Lithgow and Declan Gallagher with the hosts unable to create many clear-cut opportunities over the course of the match.
