North Dakota State defeated North Dakota 53-52 in Game 5 to finish 2-1 in the CU Mortgage Direct Dakota Showcase at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. Afterward, Bison coach Dave Richman and junior Sam Greisel addressed the media. Greisel scored the winning point from the foul line in the closing seconds. Fighting Hawks coach Paul Sather also addressed the media. UND finished 1-2 in the event.
