Goals from Raul Jimenez, Conor Coady, and Adama Traore sealed all three points as Wolves avoided a late scare to beat Southampton at Molineux. Jimenez scored the first, calmly slotting home from the penalty spot. Coady would add a second just before the hour mark, heading in from close range after Maximilian Kilman's effort had hit the post. James Ward-Prowse fired in a spectacular long-distance strike from a free-kick to put Southampton back in the game, but Adama Traore secured the victory for Wolves in extra time, finding the bottom corner when put through one-on-one.
