Kap interviewed Jim Bowden today and asked him whether he'd trade Crochet. Kap has always said he'd keep Crochet and get him signed longterm. But Bowden said you have to trade him. He said the Sox are years away from contending and no one on this roster will be on the team when they are legitimate contenders. With that being said, there were indeed a bunch of scouts at the game tonight to watch what will most likely be the final start for Crochet as a member of the White Sox. In terms of the game, Crochet went 4 innings and gave up 4 hits and 2 runs. The bullpen did a decent job the rest of the way as they only gave up 1 more run after Crochet left the game. Offensively, the Sox only had 5 hits all game.
