From the gun, the first 5km will be uphill and as the riders will crest the Cat-3 Alt de Santa Pellaia after 25km, expect the battle for the breakaway to begin from KM0. It will be breakaway versus the sprinters’ teams throughout the afternoon, but whoever comes to the line first will need to pack a punch as the final 1.4km head uphill at 3% to the finish.
