Oakland A's third baseman Matt Chapman made his second career appearance at shortstop on 8/4/21 vs. the San Diego Padres. After manager Bob Melvin pinch-hit for shortstop Elvis Andrus, Chapman moved over to SS and the first two pitches of the inning went his way.
