My match review and analysis of the Manchester City win over Southampton in the Premier League. Goals from Riyad Mahrez (2), Kevin De Bruyne (2) and Ilkay Gundogan was enough to see off James Ward-Prowse and his penalty (which Vestergaard won from a challenge from Aymeric Laporte) and a goal from Che Adams. Che Adams also saw a goal disallowed for offside but it was the controversy from Jon Moss and VAR as they did NOT give Man City and Phil Foden a penalty after Alex McCarthy (Southampton goalkeeper) brought down Foden in the penalty area to stop him scoring.
