Manchester City’s academy star Brahim Diaz has been named in Manchester City’s matchday squad for their trip to Chelsea on Saturday. The 18-year-old has only made one first-team appearance for City as a late substitute in the League Cup third round last season, and has never played a single minute in the Premier League. Diaz, who is considered one of Spain’s brightest young talents, was also part of Pep Guardiola’s squad for their pre-season tour of the United States this summer. Guardiola has been forced to call upon the attacking midfielder after Sergio Aguero broke his rib in a car crash in Amsterdam on Thursday evening.
