A native of Canada who was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2016, Luke Van Rycheghem just wrapped his second professional season in the Arizona League in 2017, where he saw action in 38 games and slashed .162/.222/.268/.490 with seven doubles, two home runs, ten walks, and 49 strikeouts over 153 plate appearances.
