In June 2021, the APFC Elite 2010 team from San Diego, California, traveled to Leon, Mexico for a week of soccer. The boys stayed at the Somnus soccer facility in Guanajuato, sleeping, eating, training, and playing soccer full time against some of Mexico's best (year ages 2008-2010) professional soccer academies: Games in order of appearance: Queretaro 2008, Queretaro 2009; Deportivo Guadalajara, Chivas 2009, Chivas 2010, Nexaca, Toluca, Leon (2009/2010)
