Jonathan Jiffy Davies retraces the 1996 Heineken Cup final at Cardiff's, Arms Park. A tense and unforgettable inaugural season of Europe's top club rugby union competition which saw Toulouse win the first of their five European crowns. It was a blistering start by the French team as Thomas Castaignede and Jerome Cazalbou both scored early. Jonathan Davies eventually came on at half-time, but the former Rugby League star was unable to change his sides fortunes. However, Adrian Davies set up a dramatic finale when he kicked his fifth penalty in the 83rd minute, to bring the scores level 15- 15 and force another 30 minutes of extra time. Christophe Deylaud won the inaugural Champions Cup for Toulouse when he kicked a penalty goal in the final seconds of extra time.
