The Otago Volts have registered their first loss in the Ford Trophy against the Auckland Aces this past Sunday. Michael Rae's record breaking 7/35 (10 overs) spearheaded the Volts bowling effort, managing to restrict Auckland to 246 on a good Eden Park Outer Oval wicket.
