Conte only made one change from the starting line-up when Spurs were beaten by Manchester United last weekend. Sergio Reguilon started in Conte's favorite 3-4-3 formation. The trio of Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Lucas Moura were sent off to find goals as quickly as possible. The result Spurs took the lead in the 13th minute through Son. Starting from Moura's stabbed movement from the right, he ended with a hard shot that could be parried by Marcus Schubert. Son quickly leaked the rebound into a goal. Song Heung-min gives Tottenham a 1-0 lead The goal made Spurs even more eager to press the Vitesse defense and almost scored a second goal in the 21st minute, had Son's shot not hit the post. A minute later, Spurs were able to double their advantage through Moura. Getting a measured pass from Kane in the final third, Moura grabbed it and then calmly rolled it into Vitesse's goal. Lucas Moura scores Tottenham's second Spurs drifted further away in the 28th minute as Jacob Rasmussen netted his own net in chaos in the box. Rasmussen tries to block Kane's shot, but it goes into the net. Own goal gives Tottenham a 3-0 lead Rasmussen paid thoroughly through a goal that made the score 1-3 in the 32nd minute. Maximilian Wittek's corner was greeted by Rasmussen who beat Eric Dier in an aerial duel and headed the ball into Hugo Lloris' goal. Matus Bero then revived Vitesse's hopes seven minutes later when he broke into Lloris' goal on a counter-attack. Moura lost the ball and Yann Gboho took it to the penalty box. The ball passed to Bero who beat Dier and Lloris before firing into goal. The goal made Vitesse even more excited even though the first half ended 3-2 for Spurs' advantage.
