Oxford United managed to smuggle a point away from the DW Stadium this evening. A very stressful 2nd half saw it finish Wigan Athletic 1-1 Oxford United. Here is my Very Biased Opinions review. Wigan vs Oxford was rearranged from earlier this season and with 2nd against 6th in the Sky Bet League One table there was a lot on the line. Oxford Utd played well for the first 30 minutes and took the lead through a brilliant team goal and arguable their and an EFL goal of the season. It was Matty Taylor who finished it off to make it 16 in league this season. But Wigan Athletic are a great side and responded well and equalised through Callum Lang just passed the half hour mark. 2nd half was all the Latics as they pushed for a winner and Oxford went into their game management mode and managed to defend well to take a point. Wind and a poor ref did not help this game, but this League One game finished Wigan 1-1 Oxford. Hope you enjoyed my review.
