Jadon Sancho sets new Bundesliga record in Borussia Dortmund’s win over Schalke

Jadon Sancho sets new Bundesliga record in Borussia Dortmund’s win over Schalke. Jadon Sancho has become the youngest player ever to score for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga’s Revierderby after his winning goal sealed a 2-1 victory over Schalke. Dortmund had taken an early lead through Thomas Delaney before Schalke pulled level through Daniel Caligiuri’s penalty in the second half. But Sancho put Dortmund back in front and won the match with another brilliant solo effort with 16 minutes remaining. Having picked up the ball close to the touchline and deep in Schalke’s half, Sancho jinked past Alessandro Schopf before he played a one-two with Raphael Guerreiro. The former Manchester City winger was then given too much space to storm into Schalke’s box and he neatly side-footed a low effort past Ralf Fahrmann. 🇩🇪 [#BUNDESLIGA] TOR FÜR DORTMUND 74' SANCHO SCHALKE 1-2 DORTMUND#S04BVB #Schalke #Dortmund pic.twitter.com/VGG5vekmDE — Goal Sharer (@SharerGoal) December 8, 2018 Alisson breaks club record as Mohamed Salah fires Liverpool top of the Premier League Jose Mourinho high fives coaching staff after corner routine produces goal vs Fulham Why Anthony Martial misses Man Utd's clash with Fulham And with that goal, the 18-year-old is now Dortmund’s youngest-ever player to score against Schalke in Bundesliga history.
