The San Antonio Spurs dropped their second straight preseason game to the Houston Rockets Thursday night, 128-106. With the loss, the Spurs finished the exhibition slate 0-3. Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray noted the difficulty of having just three preseason games to get ready for their season 2020-2021 season opener next Wednesday, Dec. 23 against the Memphis Grizzlies. “You know especially with everything going on how quick everything was thrown at us, but no excuses this is our job” said Murray. “We got three games, so you know we went out and clearly, we lost all three games, but you know it’s good to get everything out now. But like I said we need to take every game good and bad from what happened in preseason and I know we are going to have some hard practices coming up and just bring everything together and try to fix everything and get ready for Memphis.” For the latest of local, regional and national sports, subscribe to our YouTube channel and like us on social media.
