The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Minnesota Wild 3-1 in Game 2. The series is now even at one game apiece, as the series heads to St. Paul. Minnesota came out strong in the first period, blocking shorts, and out-shooting the Golden Knights. Fleury played strong in that first period to keep the game scoreless. The second period was a different affair. After Dumba scored at 12:07, Vegas found its footing. 18 seconds after Dumba's goal, Marchessault evened the score 1.
