Cameroon's Vincent Aboubakar has slammed Egypt's Mohamed Salah in a peculiar "honest" critique ahead of Cameroon's Africa Cup of Nations semi-final against Egypt. Cameroon captain Aboubakar has scored six goals in this year's competition, helping his side to the semi-finals with his six goals. For a spot in the final versus Senegal, they will face Egypt on Thursday night. Aboubakar, a member of the Porto team that drew 0-0 with Liverpool in 2018, spoke to French outlet RFI before of the match about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah. At the end of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations final, he was pitted against a player largely regarded the finest in the world today, and the 30-year-old insisted: "He doesn't impress me much." Salah "doesn't generate a lot of things in the game," according to Aboubakar, who compared the Egyptian to Paris Saint-Kylian Germain's Mbappe. I find it unusual that a player who is just five months older than Salah has chosen to play in Saudi Arabia instead of one of Europe's top five leagues.
