A nail-biting game comes to an end. Perth Scorchers win by six runs. A magnificent effort from both teams but Scorchers had the last laugh in the end. Matthew Kelly is adjudged as the Player of the Match for his fine spell. Perth have won by 6 runs! Brisbane almost scripted a last wicket heist but wasn't to be. Brisbane started off poorly and their main man - Chris Lynn - never got going. They really handicapped them and the wickets at regular intervals never helped them. Perth fielded well and bowled to their plans as well barring the last few overs to close out the game. Kelly and Tye's important strikes during the innings proved a little too much to overcome for the Brisbane unit.
