This is one of my "Elite" Profiles that I made where I describe what separates these athletes from other cream-of-the-crop athletes in their sports. Because James Harden is one of the prime-age (31) "Elite" basketball players on my list, his is the 106th "Elite" profile on my playlist, and his is my 24th Basketball "Elite" profile. In this episode, I break down the hype and the numbers as I decipher what makes The Beard one of the NBA's greatest all-time basketball players. I used the College and Pro Basketball Reference databases to research his stats and accomplishments at Arizona State and as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets organizations as an "elite" and potential all-time great professional basketball player. I have only recorded the accomplishments he has achieved to this date, and I have logged this current 2019-20 season because his NBA regular season is officially complete as of August 28, 2020, but the Playoffs aren't finished yet, and awards have not been given out yet. My intent with these profiles is to provide my justification for referring to these particular athletes as not only great, but athletes that are performing at an "elite" level within their own sport.
