Game 6 of the Leafs vs. Lightning Round 1 NHL Playoff series goes tonight in Tampa Bay. Following a narrow 4-3 victory in Toronto on Tuesday, the Leafs are bringing the 3-2 series lead into this game. Toronto appears to have the momentum, but this series has been back and forth all along, and Tampa Bay are the defending Stanley Cup Champions with good reason. Toronto's strength thus far in the series has been the reliable contributions of their regular cast of top players. For Tampa Bay, with the Lightning has had great contributions from brand stars Nikita Kucherov (7 points) and Victor Hedman (7 points), some of their other stars have struggled a little in this series. Brayden Point, one of the Bolts' top scorers in the regular season (28G, 30A) has been held to just two points in this series. And Anthony Cirelli, who really found his mark as a young contributor during this season (17 goals, 26 assists), has been held off the scoreboard entirely by the Leafs in this series. Tampa Bay does have the potential to get back in this series, but they'll need to rely stronger involvement from players like Point and Cirelli if they want to stay in contention to become three-peat Cup champions.
