Arsenal's season is over after a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal in the Europa League semifinal, in which Arsenal failed to score at home finishing the second leg 0-0. Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang hit the post twice, once forcing an incredible save out of Rulli in the Villarreal goal, but it wasn't enough. Plenty of the blame falls on Mikel Arteta, who has Arsenal halfway down the Premier League table and failed to beat his predecessor, the Europa League savant that is Unai Emery.
