In the history of Indian cricket, there have been many great spinners and pacers who hoisted the tricolor on the world stage. Many bowlers also made many records in their names. One of them is the record of Indian left arm spinner Bapu Nadkarni bowling 131 dot balls and 21 maidens consecutively. 58 years ago, on January 12, 1964, Bapu Nadkarni had left the English batsmen yearning for a single run at the Corporation Stadium in Madras (now Chennai). In one inning of this test match, he had bowled 21 consecutive maiden overs.
