Steelers fan reacts to wild card Kansas City Chiefs loss Pittsburgh went into Kansas City in a very unfavorable situation. Ben Roethlisberger’s offense never had a good shot at keeping pace with Patrick Mahomes. T.J. Watt and the defense gave Pittsburgh the lead to start the game but a total defensive collapse in the second quarter opened the door to Andy Reid’s team running away with the 42-21 win. At least this wasn’t as bad of a game or as bad of a loss as New England vs. Buffalo or Philadelphia vs. Tampa Bay. I’d call this a respectable loss in that regard. Ultimately it wasn’t the worst possible end to Roethlisberger’s career either. He made the playoffs, was the hero in Week 18, beat the Ravens in OT, got to author six more fourth quarter comebacks despite struggling to throw the ball 20 yards downfield with any accuracy. This wasn’t a bad end to his Hall of Fame career, and it wasn’t a bad end to a season where the Steelers performed well despite injuries and depth issues. Pittsburgh heads into the offseason in need of a new quarterback and soon a new general manager. We’ll see where this wild ride takes us. Also because I forgot to say it in the video, MAJOR PROPS TO JUJU for coming back when he could’ve just waited it out and went into free agency. #steelers #steelersnation #pittsburghsteelers #herewego #pittsburgh #steelersfootball #benroethlisberger #miketomlin #nfl #nflplayoffs #kansascitychiefs #chiefs
