The New Orleans Pelicans led most of the game, but Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley led the Jazz to a furious comeback when Zion Williamson sat out the remainder of the game due to a 15-minute restriction. The NBA returned to play last night with LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers defeating Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers in a thrilling game. LeBron James proved his value as the King in the clutch last night, while Anthony Davis put up 34 points over Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in a thrilling game with the NBA on TNT. One team back in the NBA bubble is the San Antonio Spurs. DeMar DeRozan of the San Antonio Spurs can opt out of his contract the season and become a free agent, however, some believe DeMar DeRozan may return next season along with head coach Gregg Popovich. The San Antonio Spurs are likely to miss the 2020 NBA playoffs as the season returns, but if they stay, DeMar DeRozan could stay put this next season. San Antonio Spurs will not be in playoff contention next season with guys like DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge and Dejounte Murray leading the way for the team. Victor Oladipo said that he was not going to play in the NBA bubble, but once he got to Orlando, he said that he might rejoin the team. As the Indiana Pacers look to restart their season, Victor Oladipo is a gametime decision as to whether or not he will play. Oladipo is continuing to recover from a leg injury that he suffered a couple years ago, but if he can come back at full strength the Indiana Pacers might be able to make some noise in the Eastern Conference.
