But then, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah had to intervene, hold talks with the Cricket Australia (CA) officials to ensure that the Indian players got access to these basic services. According to reports The Australian Football League (AFL) was attended by more than 30,000 people, and the State of Origin Rugby game was attended by a whopping 50,000 people.
