After Match Review Birmingham v QPR - EFL Champ Sat 27th Feb 2021 @ St Andrews Trillion Stadium

An after match review for Birmingham v QPR - EFL Champ Sat 27th Feb 2021 @ St Andrews Trillion Stadium - 3pm K.O Result: Birmingham 2 - 1 QPR The R'ss travelled to St Andrews looking to continue their recent unbeaten away record against a Birmingham side down near the relegation zone who will be fighting to stay out of the bottom 3. The 1st half was not the best in general for both sides with Birmingham more attacking minded but only really testing the QPR keeper Dieng a couple of times with a Gardiner and Bela shot. The R'ss didnt really test Etheridge either but scored from a rare attack in which Kane crossed into the penalty box for Austin to finish at the back post near on halftime. HT - Birmingham 0 - 1 QPR 2nd half started better from a QPR point of view and Johansen had a big chance to score a 2nd for QPR but put it over from 7 yards out, which would of put the R'ss in a good position, both sides tried to create chances but no joy and both sides made some changes which helped Birmingham more than the R'ss. Birmingham scored in the 82nd min through Pedersen with a header which gave Birmingham a way back in the game after both sides created chances and then in the 85min Halilovic scored a 2nd goal for Birmingham which was a good finish but from QPR's point of view was not good in regards of trying to keep their recent unbeaten away record going and couldnt find an equaliser and our recent unbeaten run ended. Their was plenty of talk about Birmingham's pitch as Coventry use it as well due to groundsharing but you have to make do with the conditions and try and use it to your benefit, yes on another day Johansen would score but we move onto the next game. Cmon You R'ss
