Toledo jumped in front on a power play goal from Cody Lampl at 15:37 of the first period. Shane Berschbach and Troy Schwab had the assists. Wheeling tied it just 21 seconds later. Berschbach did gave the Walleye a 2-1 lead at 13:35 of the second period with another power play goal. Wheeling evened the score with just 43 seconds left in period two. In the third period David Gilbert sored for Wheeling at 11:10 to give the Nailers their only lead of the night. Walleye Notes: Goaltender Jeff Lerg took the loss with 29 saves on the 32 shots he faced. In the regular season, Toledo was 19-2-0 in games following any loss. Toledo finished the night, 2-5 with the man advantage.
