It was a battle of the birds as the 5th-seeded Louisville Cardinals outlasted the 13th-seeded Boston College Eagles, 58-55. The Cardinals trailed by 1 with 30 seconds remaining when Nyla Harris slipped in to grab an offensive rebound and putback to give the Cardinals the 56-55 lead. Moments later Olivia Cochran came up with a steal and the Cards closed out the game from there. Harris led the Cards with 14 points and 9 rebounds while Teya Sidberry paced the Eagles with 22 points in the loss.
