The Liverpool FC player Diogo Jota and his brother have died after a fire broke out in a car following a traffic accident. Pictures taken in church on June 22 show Jota and his bride Rute Cardoso with their three children: Denis, Duarte, and a daughter born in 2024 whose name has not been revealed. His brother Andre Silva, 26, was also a footballer who had most recently played for Penafiel in Portugal’s second division. He previously played for the youth teams of FC Porto, where his brother spent a season on loan.
