In 2012 James Harden become the second youngest player to become sixth player of the year and he led the thunder to the finals. James though that he's gonna be sixth man forever. OKC contract offer was six million dollars less the than the leagues maximum and it left less then a week before the 2012-2013 season was to begin and James didnt take the offer that night, that was a most money that he would made in his life and they gave him a short amount of time to decide and that wasn't enough time for him. That same night Harden got a phone call from thunder general manager and they sad him that he is traded to Houston rockets and that was very sad night for him, he started tearing up, he had big plans. James singed 80 million dollars contract and he is not anymore sixth man, he now have his team where he is the main man. First game in Houston jersey James had 37 points and 12 assists and next game he had 45 points, those two games gave him that confidence to be what he is now. From the start being the Houston rockets player he was every all-star, not just being the star on the court but being the star off the court.
