At just 154.5km in length, the so-called Tappa dei Muri (Stage of the Walls) is the shortest road stage of the race, but still contains 2,455m of climbing. Traversing onto the east coast at Port Sant’Elpidio, the race tackles a tough and hilly final circuit that circumvents Fermo and eventually finishes inside the town situated on Sabulo hill. A tasty 1,429m of climbing falls inside the final 62km. This could be a very exciting day of racing!
