Southern's rushing attack featuring Jerodd Sims, Devon Benn and Ladarius Skelton put on a show. The Jaguars bullied Jackson State's Defensive line rushing for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns on the day. Not to be out done Southern's defense led by FCS SACK LEADER and sure fire All -American Jordan Lewis accounted for 10 TFL 4 Sacks, countless pressures, an interception, and a blocked punt. Coach Odums and Southern have a bye this week while Coach Deion Sanders and the Jackson State Tigers are looking to get back on track against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.
