A hockey stadium has been built in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, in the name of Shahabad's Olympian daughter Rani Rampal. It has been named Rani Girls Hockey Turf. Hockey striker Rani Rampal is trained by coach Baldev Singh and has played around 258 international matches.
