Thailand and the Philippines guaranteed tennis golds with SEA Games semi wins in Hanoi

Thailand's Luksika Kumkhum and Anchisa Chanta will face each other for the Southeast Asian Games women's tennis singles gold medal after advancing out of the semi-finals on Friday in Hanoi. Luksika Kumkhum beat Alex Eala of the Philippines while 2019 SEA Games silver medallist Anchisa Chanta defeated Vietnam's Chanelle Vân Nguyễn to book the all-Thai final. The men's doubles will be a re-match of the 2019 SEA Games with top-seeds Ruben Gonzales and Treat Huey looking to avenge their loss in the gold medal match against defending champions Francis Alcantara and Jeson Patrombon The unseeded Alcantara and Patrombon defeated Vietnam's Quoc Kahn Le and Van Phuong Nguyen while Gonzales and Huey knocked off the Vietnamese duo of Pham Minh Tuan and Trinh Linh Gia.
