Joel Embiid dropped a career-high 50 points on February 19, 2021 against the Chicago Bulls. He became the first 76ers player to score 50 in a game since Allen Iverson in 2005. Embiid also added 17 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks, and 2 steals. He has now scored 25+ points in 13 straight games. Embiid is no doubt deserving of MVP with how he has played thus far, however LeBron James remains the favorite. The Sixers beat the Bulls and improved to 20-10 on the season. They remain atop of the Eastern Conference standings, ahead of Brooklyn and Milwaukee.
