The Tampa Bay Lightning have overcome the New York Islanders 1-0 to win the 7th and deciding game in their semi-final series. Tampa Bay now advances to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second time in as many years, and will face the Montreal Canadiens starting on Monday. Game 7 was a more tightly-controlled hockey game, demonstrating that the Bolts can win playoff games in multiple ways. They will be the presumed favorites heading into the final against the Habs.
