Tim Tszyu recorded the first defence of his WBO super welterweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Brian Mendoza on the Gold Coast on Sunday. Mendoza was clearly up for the fight and had some success through the opening few rounds but Tszyu found his range and went through the gears as the fight went on.
