AFC U-16 C'ship (Qs): Tajikistan 1-2 Kuwait. Goal Bader Al Naser

Second-half substitute Yousef Al Rashidi scored a last-gasp winner as Group A hosts Kuwait maintained their 100% record in the AFC U-16 Championship qualifiers with a 2-1 win over Tajikistan on Friday. The match at the Ali Sabah Al Salem Stadium appeared destined for a 1-1 draw after a 54th minute effort from Tajik midfielder Hasan Muhammadjoni had levelled the contest following Bader Al Naser's opener three minutes from half-time. But one minute into second-half stoppage time midfielder Al Rashidi, who came off the bench in the 71st minute to replace Salem Al Bariki, struck the decisive blow as Kuwait made it three wins out of three following their victories over Lebanon (5-1) and Bhutan (5-0). Kuwait now go into their final Group A match on Sunday needing just a draw against India to book their place in the AFC U-16 Championship finals in Thailand next year.
