Opening batsman Danushka Goonetileke was dismissed for 15 in the first innings and then Charith Asalanka and Pathum Nissanka put on 42 (30) for the second wicket. Charith was dismissed for 26 while Pathum was dismissed for 27. Bhanuka Rajapaksa was dismissed for 17 runs. Kusal Mendis scored only 6 runs. Vanidu Hasaranga was run out for 8 runs.
