Arsenal escaped an early scare to scrape a 3-3 draw against National League side Boreham Wood. Steve Bould's first game back at the helm of the youth setup did not go entirely to plan for his young Gunners at Meadow Park. Tyrone Marsh opened the scoring after just three minutes before Piero Mingoia doubled their tally from close range. The Gunners pulled one back just before the break after Matt Smith slotted the ball past Ryan Huddart from close range. The Arsenal forward capped a crazy three-minute spell just past the hour to dump Clarence Seedorf's side out of the competition after former Watford striker, Odion Ighalo had pulled the Super Eagles level with his second of the contest.
