The Duke Blue Devils defeated the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 79-68 in Durham. Matthew Hurt led Duke with 26 points, 6 rebounds and was 10-15 for shooting, including 4-7 from 3-point territory. Freshman DJ Steward scored 21 and grabbed 6 rebounds, and Jordan Goldwine added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for Duke. Wake Forest was led by Daivien Williamson and Ismael Massoud who scored 17 points each.
